Another new song…I’m feeling creative, okay?

The real artwork.

Hey so that crappy shit invisible included with their download is a joke. Here is the real artwork.

new song and information about our LP

a few notes about our album

1. “Restart” and “Rare Disease” are mixed up. So if you buy the digital download and you are playing “Restart” it’s actually “Rare Disease” and vice versa. I would also assume that it will be the case with the actual CD as well. So just keep that in mind.

2. Also, you need to switch the order (if you’re anal) “Rare Disease” is supposed to be track 12 and “Restart” is supposed to be track 13. So after you change the names, you’ll have to switch the order.

3. We were against putting the “David Yow” remix on this album and I guess we sort of got our way. The song named “David Yow” remix is NOT that at all. That is actually our original demo of “Rare Disease”. He must have not had the correct files and didn’t pay close enough attention (what else, right?). So the only way to get the “David Yow” remix is to buy the 7” which is what we wanted in the first place.

And of course, if anyone finds any other weirdness let us know!

your pals,
Tamar and Steve

our LP will be broadcast tonight

hey all. i guess we should be really really excited but to tell you the truth, we didn’t have that much to do with this LP. the mixes and choices of songs were not what we would have wanted. in fact, we had lots of feedback but it seems that it wasn’t taken into consideration. there are some songs we like and some songs we don’t. in some cases, we like our versions way better, in other cases, we like Martin’s. Also, the EP songs were included in this LP and that isn’t what we would have wanted. we really don’t know what to say other than Steve and I are numb at this point. this will be our last release on Invisible so just so you know, there is a whole other album that we will be releasing in the Spring on our own. if you have any feedback let us know.

you can listen tonight free at this link but you have to login here.

it’s also available to purchase through Invisible. we actually have no copies at this point.

I guess this is what happens when artistic control is lost….

but maybe you’ll dig it….

we are in portland

We made it to portland after 5 days of driving. The dog held up though she was a bit concerned we were going to abandon her everytime we left the hotel room to eat dinner or something. Our daughter was awesome. She surprised us everyday with her questions and comments, trying so hard to make sense of everything. I was in good spirits seeing some of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. To think it’s all been in our backyard all along! America is truly beautiful.

We drove through the vast expanse of farmlands in Iowa and South Dakota. Stopping to boat and fish with Steve’s parents. We drove through the Badlands (which blew us away) and then continued on to Mt. Rushmore and the Blackhills where we spent the night. To see Mt. Rushmore in person is surreal…I thought I was imagining it. We continued on through Montana and spent the night at our friend Remi’s house. He had a creek right outside the front of his house. So all night I heard the beautiful sound of a real creek not some disc of canned nature sounds. It was so incredibly beautiful there!

Then we continued on to Spokane and sucked it up while we spent the night at a Ramada Inn so Tuesday can go swimming in a pool and we can watch cable. That was a good night!

Then the drive to Portland along the Columbia River and on to Mt. Hood. We saw some of the fastest wind-surfers I had ever seen! The wind gusts were beyond crazy! We witnessed one pretty bad accident along that freeway, but apparently, there always are! In fact, the wind nearly overturned our little Scion XB!!
In the end, we made it to Portland. We didn’t lose anything or anyone on the way and we actually had a great time! Truly, the drive was awe-inspiring. This country is beautiful.

And Portland is INCREDIBLE!!!

We’ll fill you all in more as we settle in and find a new home, and of course some new rock clubs for The Countdown!!!

There are some updates on the album…some good and some bad. It still is coming out but, well, we’ll just have to explain later.

We miss all of our friends but we’re on myspace and we’re both individually on Facebook so come find us.

love tamar & steve
